TULSA, Oklahoma - Many people flooded downtown Tulsa Saturday morning for a race to help fund research for Type 1 diabetes.
Money raised from the event goes to the JDRF, which is a leading research organization for Type 1 diabetes.
On Friday News On 6 told you about a new technology working as an artificial pancreas for those with Type 1 diabetes.
This tool would help millions of people with diabetes monitor and administer insulin, even when the person is asleep.
