Tim Kaine on Sunday (Oct. 16) became the first presidential ticket candidate in history to deliver a campaign speech entirely in Spanish, CNN reports.
The report says Hillary Clinton's running mate spoke to the congregation at Pneuma Church in Miami during a Spanish-language Sunday morning service.
Kaine, who is Catholic, talked about his time in Honduras as a missionary, his own faith and Clinton's Methodist upbringing, the report says.
The Virginia Senator reminded congregation members of the Oct. 18 deadline to register to vote before receiving a blessing from the pastor, the report says.
